We gain wisdom from looking towards ourselves and contemplating past experiences and looking to others. A combination of both, offers us an opportunity to move forward with confidence and wisdom.
On this page, I hope to share insights and offering topics for your own contemplation and extrapolation.
When we are confident we take chances, we give things a go, we say what we think should be said. The opposite is low self-esteem, where we take on thoughts such as, “who am I to think I could ever do that?” or “I can’t do that”. With low self confidence we compare ourselves to others all the time. When we have self confidence, we enjoy who we are. We can move forward and we express ourselves in a way that makes us happy.
A helpful step in moving towards being more confident is positive thinking.
“As you think, so you become. As are your thoughts, so must be your life. The limit of your thought is the limit of your possibilities”
Swami Sivananda
So begin to consider such thoughts as “I am capable” “My good qualities include…”
